Fastline Superbikes are pleased to offer this outstanding Ducati 24 Horas 250, 1972 model. Fully restored by well known and renowned Ducati man John Hackett and part of his private collection. Owned by John originally in 2009 and sold to a friend on the understanding if ever sold to be bought back by John, who then acquired it back in 2013. He then fully restored it using all original parts except for original fibreglass tank which had succumbed to modern fuel so fitted alloy tank to exact measurements at a cost of £1200. In the day when raced in Italy, Spanish owners would ride the bike to meetings, remove the baffle in race exhaust, rejet, race the bike then after race rejet, refit baffle and ride home.Now fitted with race carburettor, but will have standard fitted. Comes with spare parts, fuel taps, bulbs, air filter and jets. Stunning, 100% fully reconditioned, working example.
